Burlesque Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
While this 10-track album is just 32 minutes long, it still packs in a lot. The first half focuses on Leadbelly/Mae West-style numbers like Guy What Takes His Time and retro soul like the Etta James' classic Something's Got a Hold on Me, both sung by Christina Aguilera (who sings eight of the songs here). The second half is contemporary pop, notably Aguilera's clubby Express and the ballad Bound to Me. And Cher anchors the soundtrack with the Dianne Warren-penned You Haven't See the Last of Me. And when it comes to Cher, truer words were never spoken.
