Sad news for the world of music. Mike Starr, the original bassist from the legendary band Alice in Chains has sadly passed away at age 44.
Starr, who led a life marked by drug addiction, was found dead on Utah on Tuesday, at a home in Salt Lake City. His body was found approximately at 1:45pm.
After the news started spreading we saw how fans and friends turned to Twitter to mourn the death of the rock star. Among them were virtuoso drummer Mike Portnoy, Dane Cook and Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx.
