BYU forward Brandon Davies has been suspended for the remainder of the season according to a statement released by BYU. According to some sources it has to do with Brandon Davies girlfriend.
The reason for the team to suspend him was because he “violated the school’s honor code”. But a report by Jay Drew on the Salt Lake Tribune indicates that he was suspended because he had sex with his girlfriend.
So, what does to honor code says? It forbids students from having premarital sex, encouraging them to “live a chaste and virtuous life.”. Right now the case is under review to determine if Davies will remain on the school or not.
According to sources close to Davies, he is “extremely remorseful” and “heartbroken” over the whole controversy.
