Former cast member Dana Carvey returned to “Saturday Night Live” last night as host, reprising his iconic role as the Church Lady and taking on this year’s crop of unsavory pop culture icons.Carvey’s Church Chat segment hasn’t been seen regularly on SNL since he left the show in the early 1990s.

Much has changed since the Church Lady last lent her pious take on the downfall of society. This time she knocked “16 and Pregnant” and MTV’s controversial “Skins,” which she called a “SportsCenter for pedophiles.”
Carvey interviewed SNL-ers playing the Kardashians and Snooki from “Jersey Shore,” who he tried to have exorcised.
